The problem with consistency when you have ADHD

When you have ADHD you struggle with habits and consistency. You can be doing all the things and keeping up with a daily habit when one day you forget it. Just like that, you stop your new habit. Then a week goes by and you realize you haven’t been doing your new habit for a week.

When something interferes with your habit being accomplished one day and changes in your schedule it throws your life into a spin. You have to expect this is going to happen. What can you do to get back on the horse and start again? Perhaps just using the methods you used when you started. Just repeating those actions.

I find when I add one habit, I lose one. So if I add working out to my routine I may forget to take my vitamins. This is always going to be a work in progress for me. I just have to implement strategies that work and keep going.
