The end of April

So for April, I took on a challenge to walk 50 km. This is a pretty modest goal but after a period of low activity, it’s just what I needed. I decided to do a challenge for the Heart & Stroke Association. I was able to raise some money which is always nice.

So I was able to make my goal of 50 km. I need to use this motivation and continue into May. May is always a challenging month with so many birthdays and then Mother’s Day as well. Maybe I will have to tie it to another charity.

I’ve already seen some non-weight changes in my body. My blood pressure and resting heart rate have gone down a bit. It’s exciting to see these changes.
